The impact of Arabic language proficiency on human resource management in foreign companies in the Arabic region : An applied study on foreign companies in Iraq
Abstract
The study aimed to determine the impact of Arabic language proficiency on human resource management in foreign companies operating in the Arab world. The study used a descriptive-analytical approach. A questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting primary data, which was distributed to (386) individuals from the study sample, which comprised a purposive sample of employees in a number of foreign companies operating in Iraq. The study results revealed a significant impact of Arabic language proficiency on human resource management in foreign companies operating in the Arab world. Furthermore, there were no significant differences between the average responses regarding the impact of Arabic language proficiency on human resource management in foreign companies operating in the Arab world based on the experience variable. The researcher made several recommendations, most notably the need to invest in enhancing Arabic language proficiency within foreign companies operating in the Arab world, which contributes to improving overall performance and promoting effective communication at all levels.
