Al-Muqdad Journal of Educational Sciences

1. Introduction

Al-Muqdad Journal of Educational Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research, review articles, case studies, and scholarly communications in the fields of educational sciences, interdisciplinary sciences, and related academic disciplines. The journal aims to promote scientific knowledge, educational innovation, and academic collaboration at both national and international levels.

2. Publication Language Policy

The journal adopts a multilingual publication policy.

  • Authors may submit manuscripts entirely in either:
    • Arabic, or
    • English.
  • Regardless of the manuscript language, all metadata must be provided in both Arabic and English, including:
    • Title of the manuscript
    • Abstract
    • Keywords
    • Author names
    • Institutional affiliations
    • Corresponding author information

This policy aims to enhance international visibility, indexing compatibility, discoverability, and academic dissemination.

4. Types of Accepted Manuscripts

The journal accepts only the following categories of manuscripts:

  1. Original Research Articles
  2. Review Articles

5. Submission Requirements

Authors must ensure that:

  • The submitted work is original and has not been published previously.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have approved the submitted version.
  • Ethical standards and academic integrity are strictly maintained.
  • Proper citations and references are included.

The corresponding author is responsible for all communication with the journal.

6. Manuscript Preparation

6.1 General Formatting

  • Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word.
  • Paper size: A4.
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.
  • Line spacing: 1.5.
  • Font:
    • English manuscripts: Times New Roman, size 12.
    • Arabic manuscripts: Traditional Arabic or Simplified Arabic, size 14.
  • Page numbers must be included.

6.2 Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should contain the following sections:

  6. Materials and Methods / Methodology

6.3 Title Page

The title page should include:

  • Full manuscript title in Arabic and English
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • ORCID IDs (if available)
  • Corresponding author email address

6.4 Abstract and Keywords

  • The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
  • Abstracts must be provided in both Arabic and English.
  • Include 3–6 keywords.
  • Keywords should accurately reflect the research content.

7. Citation and Referencing Style

The journal accepts APA Style (7th Edition) unless otherwise specified.

Authors are responsible for:

  • Accuracy of references
  • Consistency of citation style
  • Inclusion of DOI links whenever available

8. Tables, Figures, and Illustrations

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
  • Each table and figure must include a clear title.
  • Images should be high resolution.
  • Authors must obtain permission for copyrighted material.

9. Ethical Standards

The journal follows international publication ethics standards.

Authors must:

  • Avoid plagiarism in all forms.
  • Avoid data fabrication or falsification.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest.
  • Ensure ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals.
